Students can gain up to $7,500, a plaque, and an all-expense paid trip to the Department of Pennsylvania State Convention to deliver their winning prepared oration.
Students’ essays should answer the question, “Why is the 1st Amendment so important?” Students must submit their essays to a local American Legion Post.
The Bob Williams Memorial Rotary Scholarship Program will award scholarships, up to $5,000 for an academic year, to candidates chosen by the Williams Scholarship Committee. The scholarship will be paid to the educational institution of the student’s choice.
