How It Works
WAA has partnered with the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) to offer college-level courses right here at school. These classes count for both high school and college credit, helping you get ahead before graduation.
College Credit – At a Public School Price ($0)
Just like regular classes as WHA, there’s no cost to take these college courses at WAA. When you finish, you’ll not only graduate from WAA, you’ll have an official college transcript that could transfer to a university or help you continue your college journey.
Example Course: English Composition (ENG-101)
This fall, you can sign up for ENG-101: English Composition. In this class, you’ll level up your reading, writing, and thinking skills – just like a college student.
You’ll practice:
🌟Building strong arguments
🌟Analyzing texts
🌟Integrating sources
🌟Giving and receiving feedback
🌟Learning about plagiarism and academic honesty
